We supply and install new inboard and outboard engines for both new and used vessels, managing the full process from specification through to commissioning. Volvo Penta - EVC Upgrades

EVC Upgrades

Volvo Penta EVC upgrades replace older control units (often referred to as “nodes”) with the latest-generation system—think of it like moving from Windows XP to Windows 11. This update can unlock new functionality and, in many cases, enable additional hardware upgrades such as Joystick Control, DPS (Dynamic Positioning System), Power Trim Assist, trip computer features, Easy Connect (Bluetooth connectivity), and Assisted Docking to help compensate for wind and tide during manoeuvring. It also allows installation of the latest control heads, dash switch panels, and compatible displays. Get in touch and we’ll advise which EVC upgrades may be available for your vessel.
